OVERVIEW :
Antalya's Kaleiçi district is an important tourism spot housing ancient ruins. These ruins include the walls surrounding the region and the harbor breakwater in the inner harbor, representing the Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk, and Ottoman periods.
Within the city walls, around 3000 houses are located in the region. The characteristic structures of these buildings not only provide insights into the architectural history of Antalya but also reflect the lifestyle, traditions, and customs of the region. Today, the ancient buildings in this area have been transformed into hotels, restaurants, bars, cafeterias, pensions, souvenir shops, and residences, making it a vibrant entertainment center.
In the historical marina, private boats offer trips to cliffs, bays, and the lower Düden Waterfall, providing an enjoyable and entertaining journey to explore the magnificent beauty of Antalya by sea.
